I won't try to catch you up. That would be pointless.
Saturday the 28th of May was my one year aniversary of being a blogger. I don't think the date is exact, but my first post in my old xanga blog (www.xanga.com/SunniMuffn87) was on the eve of graduation - not mine, but the grade ahead of mine. This year it was mine. So I'm socially considered something closer to an adult now.
I woke up on the morning of my graduation to my mother telling me a surprise was waiting for me in the living room. I stumbled bleary-eyed into the hallway to see a small figure dart into my mother's room. I thought maybe it was my uncle (who had been staying with us), but it looked too small. It came out and hugged me. It was my sister whom I haven't seen in a year and a half. I went to her high school graduation when I was a year old, and I puked in my mom's purse on the way. She came to return the favor.
The day after, my mom threw a huge party for all of the extended family. It was really more of a family reunion than a graduation party. It was lovely, and I got a whole lot of money. Plus, the whole family got to meet Ethan. They loved him, of course.
Today is really nice. The ground is dry but the air is damp and cool. It reminds me of New England in the summer. Unfortunately, I have an enormous clot of terror growing in my stomach, so I'm having a little trouble enjoying the weather.
